About Medication Empowerment
Using psychiatric medication to help us get the life we want is more than learning to take meds on schedule. It’s a journey that takes place over time, and that has many challenges.
Medication Empowerment is a guided process of identifying and working through personal challenges with using medication.
Medication Empowerment includes:
-
Foundations | 5 animated videos covering essential knowledge for psychiatric medication users, with worksheets in English and Spanish (form-fillable for Telehealth), for use with participants and family members.
-
Self-Assessment | An interactive self-report to identify which challenges, if any, a participant is experiencing.
- Challenges | 9 animated videos on common challenges faced by psychiatric medication users, with worksheets in English and Spanish (form-fillable for Telehealth), for use with participants and family members.
