I have been a communication professor at various Ohio colleges for the last 15 years. I was certified as an Ohio peer recovery supporter in 2020 and went on to become a state master facilitator for the CPRS training and completed course work to be a certified personal medicine coach in 2025. As an individual who struggles with mental illness and substance use disorder, I have been on a goal of self-discovery and holistic healing. Becoming a CPMC helped add tools to my tool box for self-discovery, healing, and guiding others.
