The Certified Personal Medicine work speaks to me on a personal level as a person navigating my own recovery and living life with serious mental illness. This work also aligns with the values and goals of the first episode psychosis initiative in Washington to support recovery by walking alongside individuals as they discover and strengthen their own innate capacity for healing and meaning-making. Sharing in this work and learning about personal medicine has been affirming and deeply rewarding.
