When I learned about Personal Medicine, it gave language to something I had already experienced. Art, writing, nature, creativity, and meaningful connection have all been ways I have found grounding and expression during difficult seasons. Personal Medicine reminds me that wellness is not found in one place or through one method. It is deeply individualized and tied to the life, meaning, and experiences of each person. I have been connected to the helping field for many years, both personally and professionally. Before formally entering mental and behavioral health work, I spent years learning what resilience and healing can look like in real life - through my own experiences, my family, and the people I care about. As I continue my professional path in social work, I believe people carry innate strengths, wisdom, and internal resources. This work matters to me because it invites people to recognize what is already within them, reconnect with their sense of agency, and use what supports them in ways that feel realistic, self-directed, and deeply personal. My passion is helping others explore the practices, connections, and sources of meaning that help them feel grounded, capable, and confident in their ability to move toward wellness in ways that are personal and intentional.
