We have just been notified that CommonGround has been awarded the Innaugural Scattergood Innovation Award.  How does the Scattergood Foundation define innovation? "The innovations we seek challenge how behavioral healthcare is currently viewed, organized, and practiced through the creation of catalytic concepts, products, processes, services and/or technologies."  I  like the idea that CommonGround is a "catalytic concept" that challenges and transforms behavioral health services to a recovery and wellness orientation.

Team PDA is honored to receive the Scattergood Innovation Award.  We want to acknowledge the other great applicants including finalists  Mental Health Association of Southeast Pennsylvania, Intercommunity Action, Early Assessment and Support Alliance and Active Minds. Also, a special shout out to Corinna West and her great innovation, Wellness Wordworks

Last, but not least, a special THANKS to all of you who voted for CommonGround. Your support means so much to us.

No single innovation will transform behavioral health. But together, we have the power, energy and know how to insure that recovery is for everybody.

Here is a short presentation about the award by the Scattergood Foundation.
